18A:54E-2. Business advisory board; creation, membership 2. Each county superintendent shall create a business advisory board or shall designate a Workforce Investment Board created by the State Employment and Training Commission in the Department of Labor or a Private Industry Council established pursuant to the Job Training and Partnership Act to perform the functions of the business advisory board under this act. Membership on the business advisory board shall be open to interested local businesses which wish to assist students enrolled in a program involving vocational or technical training in a public secondary school or community college jointly engaged in such a program with a public secondary school. The county superintendent shall be chairman of the business advisory board, and the board shall meet monthly. The county superintendent shall appoint a program coordinator who shall be charged with administering the program at local board levels. All members of the board shall serve without compensation and for a three year term. L.1993,c.314,s.2.
