18A:54-26. Contracts; payment of bills No contract shall be entered into by the board of education of a county vocational school, nor shall any bill or demand for money be paid until the same shall have been presented and passed on at a regularly called meeting of the board. Every such bill or demand, except for salaries, exceeding $25.00 shall be verified by affidavit or contain or have annexed thereto a signed declaration in writing to the effect that such bill or demand is correct in all its particulars, that the articles have been furnished or services rendered as stated therein and that no bonus has been given or received on account thereof.
