Apportionment of sums appropriated

18A:54-10. Apportionment of sums appropriated Whenever the money appropriated for vocational schools by the legislature, together with the amount certified by the commissioner to the director of the division of budget and accounting in the department of the treasury for apportionment to such schools, shall be less than the amount legally applied for by the several schools, then there shall be paid to each school such proportionate share of the amount applied for as the total amount applied for shall bear to the total amount of the appropriation and apportionment for that year. Such proportionate payment shall not relieve the state of its obligation toward the districts respecting vocational school funds. Nothing in this section shall apply to a county vocational school.
