Provision of State-issued high school diploma.

18A:50A-1 Provision of State-issued high school diploma. 1. A State-issued high school diploma shall be provided by the New Jersey Department of Education to persons 16 years of age or older and no longer enrolled in school to document the attainment of academic skills and knowledge equivalent to a high school education. Demonstration of the appropriate level of academic competency for receipt of the State-issued high school diploma shall include, but need not be limited to, passage of the Tests of General Educational Development (GED) of the American Council on Education.
