Qualifications of board members

18A:46-36. Qualifications of board members A member of the board of education created under the provisions hereof shall be a citizen and a resident of the county, shall have been such citizen and resident for at least 2 years immediately preceding his becoming a member of the board, and shall have shown an interest in children with an unusual disability to learn or in the field of mental health.
