Disposition of petitions, controversies, disputes

18A:3B-29. Disposition of petitions, controversies, disputes 29. All petitions, controversies and disputes pending before the State Board of Higher Education or the Chancellor of Higher Education and not disposed of as of the effective date of this act shall be decided by the commission under the law under which the action arose as though this act had not been enacted. The commission shall have all necessary powers to render a final administrative decision in accordance with the "Administrative Procedure Act," P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.) in regard to these controversies and disputes. This section shall not be construed to grant to the commission general authority to render final administrative decisions on matters arising under the laws governing higher education except as otherwise specifically provided herein.
