2-year course of study in history

18A:35-1. 2-year course of study in history The superintendent of schools in each school district shall prepare and recommend to the board of education of the district, and the board of education shall adopt a suitable two-year course of study in the history of the United States, including the history of New Jersey, to be given to each student during the last four years of high school. Said course of study shall include materials recommended by the commissioner dealing with the history of the Negro in America. L.1967, c.271; amended by L. 1973, c. 20; 1987, c. 52, s. 1.
