Transfer of title of painting or work of art to municipality; public display

18A:20-2.1. Transfer of title of painting or work of art to municipality; public display The board of education of any school district owning a painting or other work of art may by resolution transfer title thereto to the municipality in which the school district is located and the board of education and the governing body of the municipality may enter into an agreement relative to their respective responsibilities and obligations in connection with the maintenance, restoration and preservation of the painting or other work of art to assure its appropriate public display.
