Transfer by municipality to board of education

18A:20-18. Transfer by municipality to board of education Whenever the governing body of a municipality, in which any public playground and recreation place has been established, shall determine by resolution that it is advisable that it be relieved of the maintenance, control, and management thereof, the governing body may, without consideration, convey the same to the board of education of the school district in the municipality, for use for public playgrounds and recreation places if said board shall by resolution consent to accept, maintain, control and manage the same. The real estate so transferred and conveyed shall be under the control of and shall be maintained and managed by the board of education. L.1967, c.271.
