18A:13-47.9 Expiring employment salary guide and terms and conditions. 9. Notwithstanding any law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, whenever the salary guide and terms and conditions of employment of one or more school districts seeking to join a newly formed or existing limited purpose or all purpose regional district is set to expire upon the formation of the new regional district, the school district may: a. elect to adopt the expiring salary guide and terms and conditions of employment for a period not to exceed one year or until a successor agreement is negotiated with the majority representative of the new regional district, whichever occurs first; or b. elect to adopt the salary guide and terms and conditions of employment of the largest comparable district joining the new regional district.
