Insurer organized under any repealed act; continuance of existence and rights

17B:35-7. Insurer organized under any repealed act; continuance of existence and rights The repeal by this code of the whole or any part of any act under which there was organized any insurer in existence on the effective date of this code shall not work a dissolution of such insurer, but the existence of such insurer and the tenure of its officers and directors shall be preserved and such insurer, its officers, directors and policyholders shall have the same rights and shall be subject to the same limitations, restrictions, liabilities and penalties as those prescribed by this code for insurers organized under this code, their officers, directors and policyholders.
