17B:27A-21.1 Eligibility for enrollment in small employer health benefits plan 5. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, a carrier shall not consider a person's eligibility for medical assistance pursuant to P.L.1968, c.413 (C.30:4D-1 et seq.), or the equivalent statute in another state, when determining the person's eligibility for enrollment in, or the provision of benefits under, a small employer health benefits plan delivered, issued or executed in this State.
