Providers of health benefits, services subject to provisions of act

17B:27A-18. Providers of health benefits, services subject to provisions of act 2. Every health insurer, health service corporation, medical service corporation, hospital service corporation, and health maintenance organization licensed or authorized to provide health benefits or services in this State which offers health insurance policies or coverages to small employers shall be subject to the provisions of this act. Carriers shall offer coverage to all eligible employees of small employers and their dependents and shall not exclude any employee or eligible dependent on the basis of a health status-related factor.
