17B:17-11. Authorized insurer, unauthorized insurer defined a. An "authorized insurer" is one duly authorized by a current certificate of authority issued by the commissioner pursuant to this code to act as an insurer in this State. b. An "unauthorized insurer" is an insurer not so authorized. L.1971, c. 144, s. 17B:17-11.
