Penalty for violations

17:47-12. Penalty for violations Any person who as principal, attorney, agent, broker or other representative, engages in the business contemplated by this chapter, or any variety or portion thereof, without complying with the requirements hereof, or who violates any provisions of this chapter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and sentenced to pay a fine of not less than fifty nor more than five hundred dollars.
