17:33B-40. Dissemination of information; exemption or deferral under certain circumstances a. The Commissioner of Insurance, in regulations implementing the provisions of sections 41 through 47 of this act, shall also require that insurers take appropriate action to ensure that there is wide public dissemination of the provisions of sections 41 through 47 of this act relating to the rights and obligations of insured and insurers. b. The inspections provided for in sections 42, 43 and 44 of this act may be exempted or deferred under circumstances specified in regulations of the commissioner. The commissioner shall exempt new automobiles from inspection under conditions he establishes by regulation. Other circumstances for exemption or deferral may include but are not limited to, the insuring of an automobile whose inspection would constitute a serious hardship to the insurer, the insured or an applicant for insurance, and the insuring of an automobile for a limited specified period of time.
