17:33A-19 Duties of Insurance Fraud Prosecutor. 35. The Insurance Fraud Prosecutor shall investigate and, if warranted, prosecute, cases referred to it by insurers, State agencies, or county and municipal governments. The Insurance Fraud Prosecutor may assist county prosecutors in the investigation and prosecution of fraud, and shall give county prosecutors access to the data base maintained pursuant to section 38 of this amendatory and supplementary act.
