17:29-12. Maximum charge; regulation The Commissioner of Banking and Insurance shall, pursuant to chapter 66 of the laws of 1958, hold a hearing and promulgate an appropriate regulation establishing the maximum amount which may be charged by a lender or other legal entity servicing mortgages for the substitution of an insurance policy or policies.
