17:22-6.80. Examination of insurers in financial condition hazardous to policyholders or public; request to domiciliary jurisdiction for examination and report In the event the commissioner has sufficient basis to believe that the financial condition of a member insurer is hazardous to the policyholders or the public, the commissioner shall request the appropriate regulatory authority of the domiciliary jurisdiction of that member insurer to examine and report back to the commissioner on the financial condition of the member insurer.
