Short title; application of act

17:22-6.40. Short title; application of act Sections 6 through 31 of this act (C. 17:22-6.40 through 17:22-6.65) constitute and may be referred to as "the surplus lines law." This act does not apply to life insurance companies writing life insurance, accident and health insurance and annuities, nor to risks insured under exceptions (e) and (f) of section 3 of this act (C 17:22-6.37), nor to insurance coverages which are independently procured as provided in section 30 (C. 17:22-6.64) of this act.
