Violation; misdemeanor; penalties

17:22-6.38. Violation; misdemeanor; penalties Any person who in this State represents or aids an unauthorized insurer in violation of section 3 of this act shall upon conviction thereof be guilty of a misdemeanor. In addition to the penalty provided for herein such violator shall be liable, personally, jointly and severally with any other person or persons liable therefor, for payment of taxes payable on account of such insurance as if such insurance were independently procured.
