Provisions; enforcement, penalty for violation

17:16K-12. Provisions; enforcement, penalty for violation 6. a. The Department of Banking shall enforce the provisions of this act. b. Any party responsible hereunder found to be in violation of any provision of this act shall correct the violation within five business days after such finding. Failure to correct the violation within five business days after such finding may subject the party to a civil penalty of not more than $250 which may be collected by summary proceedings instituted by the Commissioner of Banking in accordance with "the penalty enforcement law" (N.J.S.2A:58-1 et seq.).
