17:16C-38.1. Remedy of buyer against seller; provision relieving holder or other assignee from liability; prohibition No retail installment contract shall contain any provision relieving the holder, or other assignee, from liability for any civil remedy sounding in contract which the retail buyer may have against the retail seller under the retail installment contract or under any separate instrument executed in connection therewith.
