17:16C-32. Notice that policy required in sale of motor vehicle includes no liability or property damage coverage Whenever, in the sale of a motor vehicle, the retail buyer is required, under the provisions of this act, to provide a policy of insurance and such policy of insurance does not contain the liability insurance required by section 1 of P.L.1972, c. 197 (C. 39:6B-1), the retail installment contract shall contain, immediately following the statement therein concerning insurance, the following notice printed prominently, in the form herein indicated or in such other form as may be approved by the commissioner, in 10-point type or larger: "THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE INSURANCE ON YOUR LIABILITY FOR BODILY INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. WITHOUT SUCH INSURANCE, YOU MAY NOT OPERATE THIS VEHICLE ON PUBLIC HIGHWAYS." L.1960, c. 40, p. 154, s. 32. Amended by L.1973, c. 346, s. 1, eff. Dec. 27, 1973.
