Examination of safe deposit companies by commissioner; examination of witnesses

17:14A-71. Examination of safe deposit companies by commissioner; examination of witnesses The commissioner, a deputy commissioner, and every examiner assigned by the commissioner or by a deputy commissioner to examine the affairs of a company may administer an oath to any person whose testimony is required for the purposes of the examination. The commissioner or deputy commissioner may compel the appearance of any person for the purposes of examination, by subpena ad testificandum and the production of books, papers, documents or records by subpena duces tecum.
