Organizational meeting; notice

17:13-83. Organizational meeting; notice The organizational meeting of the members of the credit union shall take place within ten days of the filing of the certificate of incorporation. A written notice, signed by a majority of the incorporators, shall be given personally or by mail to each of the members proposed in the certificate of incorporation, designating the time, place, and purpose of the meeting. The notice shall be given at least five days before the date on which the meeting is to be held. At the meeting the members present by majority vote shall elect a board of directors as provided for in section 17 of this act and shall transact any other business as may properly come before them.
