Change of office location

17:12B-40. Change of office location A State association may change the location of its principal office to a new location subject to the following requirements: (1) If the new location of its principal office is in the same municipality, the State association shall file a certificate of such change with the commissioner within 1 week from the date such change is made. (2) Where the principal office is to be removed from one municipality to another, such change or removal shall take place only after receipt of written approval of the commissioner in accordance with the procedures established in section 24 of this act, except that the State association shall publish the required notice of application in the State association's home office municipality, the municipality to be served by the new office, and the municipality where the office is to be closed or the principal office is to be designated as a branch. In addition, the State association shall post notice of the application for 17 days from the date of first publication in a prominent location in the office to be closed. L.1963, c. 144, s. 40.
