Maintenance of branch offices by licensee.

17:11C-9 Maintenance of branch offices by licensee. 9. a. A consumer lender or sales finance company may maintain a branch office or offices. The licensee shall obtain a license for each branch office from which the licensee has direct contact with New Jersey consumers regarding any consumer loan business or sales finance company business regulated under the "New Jersey Consumer Finance Licensing Act," sections 1 through 49 of P.L.1996, c.157 (C.17:11C-1 et seq.) or the "Retail Installment Sales Act of 1960," P.L.1960, c.40 (C.17:16C-1 et seq.), as appropriate. b. The commissioner shall issue a branch office license if: (1) The licensee has submitted a completed branch office application form, which includes any information required by the commissioner concerning the branch office, and an application fee pursuant to the schedule provided in subsection d. of section 8 of P.L.1996, c.157 (C.17:11C-8); and (2) The application for the branch office demonstrates that the office is in a suitable location.
