Lutheran Synod or District; formation

16:5-4. Lutheran Synod or District; formation Any general organization for this State formed by ordained ministers and congregations of the Lutheran Church, at a convention, conference or meeting, held within or without this State, attended by said ordained ministers and accredited delegates or representatives of such congregations, and in which organization all the congregations of that denomination, holding and confessing the doctrine of the Unaltered Augsburg Confession, are, or are entitled to be, represented at such convention, conference or meeting, may, by resolution, form a Lutheran Synod or District and any such synod or district may be incorporated in the manner provided in this act.
