Inclusion of component river areas in national wild and scenic rivers system

13:8-60. Inclusion of component river areas in national wild and scenic rivers system The Governor is hereby authorized to make application on behalf of the State for the inclusion of component river areas of the New Jersey Wild and Scenic Rivers System in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. The Governor is further authorized to enter into written cooperative agreements concerning such inclusion and for the joint Federal-State administration of a New Jersey component river area of such system; provided, however, that no such agreement for the administration of such area shall be less restrictive than the provisions of this act or the rules and regulations promulgated pursuant hereto.
