13:1E-15.1. Hours of operation; facility within 1000 feet of residential zone Notwithstanding the provisions of P.L.1970, c. 40 (C. 48:13A-1 et seq.) or any other law, rule or regulation to the contrary, no solid waste disposal facility located in or within 1000 feet of any area zoned residential, other than a resource recovery facility, a baling facility and its related operations, a transfer station, or a recycling facility, shall be operated on any day before 7:00 a.m. or after 7:00 p.m.; provided, however, the department, upon finding that the public health, safety or welfare so requires, is authorized to exempt any solid waste disposal facility from the provisions of this supplementary act.
