13:18A-23. Coastal area; revision of environmental design In addition to the functions required pursuant to the "Coastal Area Facility Review Act," P.L.1973, c. 185 (C. 13:19-1 et seq.), the Department of Environmental Protection shall, in consultation with the commission and within 18 months of the effective date of this act, review the environmental design for the coastal area as it affects the planning and management of the development and use of any land in the coastal area which is also within the boundaries of the Pinelands National Reserve, make any necessary revisions to such environmental design as may be necessary in order to effectuate the purposes of this act and the Federal Act, and prepare and transmit to the commission a report detailing the provisions of the environmental design as so revised and as applicable to such land.
