N.J.S.A. 13:12-8 — Board of directors of canal and banking company; voting capital stock

13:12-8. Board of directors of canal and banking company; voting capital stock The board of directors of the canal and banking company shall consist of three members, two of whom shall constitute a quorum. The members of the board shall be elected at the annual meeting of the stockholders of the canal company, and shall hold office for one year and until their successors are duly elected and qualified. The Commissioner of Conservation and Economic Development, the State Treasurer and the Director of the Division of Budget and Accounting in the Department of the Treasury and their successors in office shall be eligible to serve as directors of the canal and banking company. The capital stock of the canal and banking company, the title to which is vested in the Department of Conservation and Economic Development in trust for the State by section 13:12-6 of this Title, shall, at each election of directors of the canal and banking company, be voted in favor of the election as such directors of the persons then holding the offices of Commissioner of Conservation and Economic Development, State Treasurer, and Director of the Division of Budget and Accounting in the Department of the Treasury, respectively.
