Bond

12:9-11. Bond The harbor master, before entering upon his duties, shall execute a bond to the state of New Jersey in the penal sum of one thousand dollars, with two sufficient sureties to be approved by the mayor of the city of Elizabeth conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties. He shall perform all the duties, exercise all the powers and derive all the emoluments imposed and authorized by this article.
