12:7A-24 Issuing agents. 24. The commission may designate any person to be its agent for the issuing and filing of certificates of origin, certificates of registration and certificates of ownership in accordance with the provisions of this act and regulations to be prescribed by the commission. The agent shall so act at the discretion of the commission until the agent's authority is revoked by the commission. All moneys received by the agents for the issuance and filing of certificates of origin and certificates of ownership under the provisions of this act shall forthwith be deposited upon receipt with the State Treasurer. The commission shall prescribe the fee to be paid to the agent and the fee shall be paid to the agent by the State Treasurer upon the voucher of the commission in the same manner as other State expenses are paid.
